Still much snow here in the woods of Northern BC, but the sun is out signaling spring in all its wonder. Trails are freeing themselves of the deep snowpack in the Rocky Mountain Trench, and the bears are shaking off their winter sleep.
Off to an interior rainforest for a weekend hike and photos of the new season, I was fortunate to see two bears close up. Both of us were quite surprized, and we went our separate ways after the pics !
