We are heading east now across the prairies. The best sky I have ever seen, so wide and so blue and goes on forever.
Passing through Jasper on the way back home. Will be sad to see all the mountains go, but looking forward to some Prairie skies!
Something for the eyes...a blue glacier! WOW. This is in Stewart BC. Still raining, but worth the drive off the highway to see this! Now the kids are using up all their blue marker to draw this one.
After spending another rainy night camping, we managed to re-stock food and continued our journey across BC. The remote wilderness here is stunning. Love it!
We watched a grizzly come to the stream and try to pounce on a salmon. What an amazing site! We were only 10' away on a bridge! Truly a magnificent creature, how could someone hunt them?
Will be leaving the beautiful Yukon tomorrow and heading down the Cassiar Highway in Norther BC. This route is supposed to be beautiful and we will head towards Steawart to see the glaciers.
We have arrived to Dawson, home to the Klondike Gold Rush. Amazing old buildings, interesting history. Still raining!
We headed up the dempster and what a beautivul mountain range, never knew it existed, and in Canada too!
