This is the latest video circulating MEC

captured 44 seconds of winter bliss in the Flathead River Valley
. For one, it's a different look for the Flathead. Most of the pictures or videos I've seen have been of the Flathead in spring or summer. It's a beautiful thing -- rock, river and valley in a winter wonderland, and not a soul in sight. It doesn't get much better, or wilder for that matter, than this scene. Props to Ryland for sending this our way complete with his subtle, surferesque narration.
And for those of you who can't wait until the earth moves closer to the sun, here's the Flathead from a warmer perspective --- Ryland Nelson's "The Flathead: a Hundred Year History."
