Challenge Categories

Big or small, long or short, alone, or with friends, family or colleagues, there’s a Big Wild Challenge category for everybody. Which one will you do?

1. The Big Wild Epic
Your adventure will last several days and will most likely require specialized skills you have developed while exploring rugged and remote locations way, way, way off the beaten path.

2. The Big Wild Adventure
Dedicate some precious time away from urban life, even if it’s short, to protecting our Big Wild. Your adventure will be at least overnight, and has a goal – like re-connecting with nature, or long lost friends, or running a river you’ve never run or hiking the furthest you’ve ever hiked in a day.

3. The Big Wild Family Affair
No iPods, no video games, and no internet. Yikes! This challenge will be tough enough for most families so set yourself an easy goal that will bring the family together for at least 24 hours and camp in a place that’s accessible to everyone. Remember the first goal in any family affair is fun.
